‘Skeem Saam’ is one of the most loved local drama series and, this year, they are introducing six new characters.
Last night, they announced the return of Bra Sikes, who will be working as a chef at one of the restaurants.
Backstory, remember Leeto Maputla was married to Mokgadi, whom he later divorced? Do you also remember that Mokgadi had a son, Noah, who was arrested for killing Koloi’s mother and burning Lehasa Maphosa’s factory nuts?
Well, Bra Sikes is Noah’s father, who just got released from prison. Now he’s back in town and expected to wreak havoc.
Fans of the show are excited and cannot wait to see the drama Sikes will bring to Tuurflop.
“Damn, ‘Skeem Saam’ is cooking. Bra Sikes will use Lehasa's connections to get Noah out and also request Lehasa to lobby Leeto to handle legal matters involving the movement contract and in and outside prison, which will land Leeto in prison later on,” said @Marxism_101Love.
Another fan, @out_soon_, said: “The chef?! Haaa @SkeemSaam3 has really brought out the big guns!”
While others anticipated Racheal Kunutu’s return, South African rapper Sjava also reacted to Sike’s appearance.
He reminisced about the time they walked together in a real-life event.
“I once walked with this legend and Malamesh from Malvern to Alexandra, just rapping the whole way nonstop saze safika [until we arrived],” said Sjava.
Meanwhile, other characters who have also joined the cast are expected to add more flavour to Maphosa’s storyline, who is currently in prison.
