Adriaan Wildschutt shattered the South African 10km road record at the Absa RUN YOUR CITY Gqeberha 10K, clocking 27:28 to break Precious Mashele’s mark by seven seconds. The America-based athlete overcame wind and early pacing challenges to secure victory and add a fourth national record to his name. Kenya’s Vincent Kipkorir and Kabelo Mulaudzi completed the men’s podium, while Kenya’s Jane Chacha claimed the women’s title ahead of Ethiopia’s Selam Gebre and South Africa’s Glenrose Xaba.
