If you're looking for something to do this weekend, stop over at the Pavilion Night Market.

Taking place on Saturday, March 29 from 3pm-10pm, shoppers will be treated to a variety of crafts, food, specialty buys and live music, heralding the onset of autumn.

The one-day afternoon and evening market supports micro-businesses and pop-up entrepreneurs, allowing a wide range of shopping, dining, kiddies and entertainment options for visitors. The market will have over 30 stalls including gift ideas, bespoke items, garments, jewellery, handmade crafts, décor items, vintage wares and toys.

Delicious artisanal options, street food, snacks, market fare, speciality dishes and desserts, will be available at the market for families to enjoy, while they listen to the best in local live entertainment.

There will be live music throughout the afternoon and evening. Featured acts include Many Moore, a three-piece acoustic pop jazz outfit from Pietermaritzburg, who perform urban poetic soul influenced by Fela Kuti, Hugh Masekela, Norah Jones, and Bob Marley. They have been the opening act for Sjava, have shared the stage with Desmond & The Tutus and have performed gigs at events around the country.

The market is undercover – so is protected from the weather. It is alongside entrance 5 and 6, at Undercover B.

Entrance is free.
