Rookie sensation Marc Marquez extended his lead in the MotoGP World championship after another convincing victory in Sunday's Indianapolis Grand Prix.
Works Honda team mate Dani Pedrosa finished second, 3.495 seconds behind Marquez, with Jorge Lorenzo third on a Yamaha.
Italy's seven-times World champion Valentino Rossi burst into fourth place on the final lap.
Marquez's win, his third in a row, completes his sweep of the races in the United States following his wins at Laguna Seca and Austin.
“Maybe I should make America my next country, I've won the three races here... I love it,” joked Marquez after extending his lead at the top of the standings to 21 points from Pedrosa (167) and reigning world champion Lorenzo (153).
Marquez topped every session he took part in during the weekend and started the 27-lap rqace from pole position.
After making a poor start the 20-year-old fought his way into the lead overtaking Lorenzo on the ninth lap and Pedrosa four laps later.
Pedrosa looked like he would have to settle for third but powered ahead of Lorenzo at the start of the penultimate lap.
Pedrosa and Lorenzo, both coming back from injuries, scored their first podium finishes since the Catalan Grand Prix in Barcelona two months ago.
For Lorenzo, the race marked a return to fitness after he was hampered by a broken collarbone.
Although fatigue was a factor for him late in the race, he now returns to the European circuits friendly to the YZR-M1 in full fitness and just 15 points behind Pedrosa in in the standings.
Rossi's late burst saw him overtake Cal Crutchlow and Alvaro Bautista on the final lap to claim fourth - and just hold on to fourth in the overall standings with 130 points, three clear of Crutchlow.

Kalex rider Esteve Rabat - starting from fourth on the grid - grabbed the lead from similarly mounted Takaaki Nakagami with two laps to go and held on for the win. Nakagami, who'd qualified third, led from the start but had to settle for second, 0.766sec behind Rabat.
Third place went to top qualifier Scott Redding, also on a Kalex.
Rabat trailed Nakagami, Redding and Pol Espargaro (on another Kalex) for most of the race before moving into third with seven laps to go.
With four laps left, Rabat moved into second place behind Nakagami and ahead of Espargaro, who fell behind Redding on the final lap.

Alex Rins regained the lead from fellow KTM rider Alex Marquez on the final lap and went on to win by 0.177sec. Rins, who started from pole, took the lead from Maverick Vinales (KTM) on the lap 14. Marquez pulled ahead with one lap remaining, but Rins surged back into the lead in Turn 1.
Right behind Marquez was Vinales as Spanish riders claimed the top three spots.
Jack Miller was involved in a high-side crash entering turn two on lap four and was carried away on a stretcher; race officials later said he'd suffered a fractured right collarbone.
The win was the third career Moto3 triumph for Rins, flowing wins at the Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin, Texas, and at the German Grand Prix.
Points leader Luis Salom (KTM) finished fifth, his first finish outside the top three this season. Salom has four victories this year and tops the standings with 183 points, with Vinales second on 174 and Rins third on 167. - Reuters
