When is a Ferrari not a Ferrari? Arguably, when it's a one-off special by Pininfarina. This is actually the second such car built by the legendary Italian design studio for American millionaire James Glickenhaus. It's an endurance racer called the Ferrari P4/5 Competizione (a designation Ferrari itself has never used), and uses mechanical components mostly from the 430 Scuderia and 430 GT2 in what looks like an updated P3 sports-racing chassis with carbon-fibre bodywork - hence the name. Its four-litre V8 is rated at 330kW and 600Nm, and the car weighs only 1230kg. It has been entered for the Nurburgring 24 Hours race on June 25 and here we see it in testing at the Nordschleife.
