Personal Finance is proud to introduce its new data partners for the upcoming 2025 Raging Bull Awards at the end of January. The awards showcase outstanding performance in the collective investment schemes industry, recognising funds and managers that consistently outperform their peers, and thus giving consumers a reliable reference for choosing investments with confidence.

Two respected and innovative global financial services firms, Iress and Apex Group, have partnered with Personal Finance to provide the market data and calculations to determine the Raging Bull Award certificate and trophy winners, ensuring the awards continue to enjoy their long-standing credibility and prestige in the South African investment industry.

Iress

Iress South Africa is part of an international group based in Melbourne, Australia, that provides market data and wealth management software to the financial services industry. The group has offices in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Tunisia and the UK.

More than 12,000 institutional, retail, and online traders around the world use Iress's trading and market data software to connect across multiple markets, monitor and manage risk, access end-to-end trading support, and deliver better performance.

For over 20 years Iress’s software has been the cornerstone of seamless transactions across diverse funds and asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and forex. The software is widely used by buy-side firms – those that buy securities on behalf of investors, such as asset managers – and sell-side firms, which facilitate selling transactions, such as investment banks. Today, Iress serves all institutional sell-side firms and the majority of buy-side firms in South Africa.

Stuart Campbell, commercial head of Iress SA, said: “Iress SA is thrilled to announce its partnership with Apex as the official data provider for the esteemed Raging Bull Awards. The collaboration reflects our dedication to empowering the financial community with cutting-edge technology and data solutions and underscores Iress’s commitment to excellence in the financial services industry and highlights its focus on supporting the asset management sector.”
