Signed by band members Stevie Nicks, Mike Fleetwood, Christine McVie, John McVie, and Lindsey Buckingham, the cover had a presale top estimate of only $200.

The MusiCares Person of the Year award is presented annually by MusiCares, the charity arm of The Recording Academy (distributors of the Grammy Awards) to commend musicians for their artistic achievements and dedication to philanthropy. Fleetwood Mac has supported several charities over more than 50 years.

Fleetwood Mac lead singer Nicks’s signed and used tambourine fetched $10240 and a microphone used by her on stage $11520 at the auction in Los Angeles.

Fleetwood Mac was founded by Peter Green in 1967 and named after Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. After Green left in 1969, Fleetwood and McVie remained as original members and the band took on Christine McVie in 1970 and Nicks and Buckingham in 1974.
