The sale will be on February 8 at 11am at Bidway’s premises at 179 Albert Road, Woodstock.
Stef Olivier, of Bidway, says more than 1000 items from the store, which for 12 years prided itself on stocking “one-of-a-kind” goods for home décor and gifts, are on the Bidway auction floor ready to be knocked down.

“This was an exceptional store, selling beautiful and unusual items that drew locals and tourists to Fish Hoek. Among the varied and collectable lots we are auctioning are unique wooden cabinets; dining room tables and chairs; benches; wooden carved patio furniture; bookcases and around 600 brand-new home décor items such as mirrors, vases, beads, pottery, light fittings, coat stands, frames and many others,” Olivier says.
Bidway expects major interest in the pre-viewing of the lots, which is scheduled for Friday from 9am to 4pm.
“All the stunning items are in good condition and are sure to be snapped up at bargain prices at the auction,” Olivier says.
