These qualities give Clarina an advantage over most of its sister suburbs - a factor enhanced by a good security record and the fact that it has one of the most affordable average house prices in Pretoria North.

Clarina is centrally located near the R80 to Soshanguve, N1 to Joburg and the N4 to Mpumalanga.

These are also sought after for rental accommodation and appeal to tenants such as young professionals, young couples and students or anyone in search of a quiet and convenient urban lifestyle, states Mokwana.
As for freeholds, he says the estimated average value of a house in Clarina is R900000 or more. He observes, however, that with increasing numbers of owners renovating their homes, slightly upmarket and more highly-priced properties can be found throughout the suburb. The most that a home here is likely to fetch is around R2.6million.
“Clarina offers a combination of old and new houses. Those who own older houses are focused on renovation, largely to facelift and possibly attract higher offers when they put their properties on the market."
