Alliance Property Group will auction two prime commercial properties on February 13 in Greyville. The multi-property sale starts at 11am in the DLI Hall at 5 DLI Avenue.

Included in the lots for the sale is a Bluff suburban shopping centre and a retail property in Clairwood.

The prominent Bluff property is on the busy corner of Marine Drive and Beach Road in Ocean View, and comprises eight ground-floor shops, two first-floor office suites, three spacious flats (recently repainted) and a multi-purpose ground floor coldroom/warehouse with drive-in access.

Also, there are ground-floor premises (180m²) currently occupied by the Trinity Church with access off Regent Avenue and on-site parking for 21 vehicles.

The property offers three road frontages and on-site parking for the retail shops with another 22 bays provided along Marine Drive and Regent Avenue.

Bluff Country Club, Glenardle Primary School, Grosvenor High School and Bluff Shopping Centre are nearby.

The Clairwood property on auction is also in a conspicuous location - in the heart of the Clairwood retail area with its main frontage running along the busy South Coast Road. The double-storey building is occupied on the ground floor by PEP Stores and to the rear of the ground floor in Sigamoney Road is a small tearoom.

The upper floor is occupied by The Universal Church of the Kingdom of God but should the new owner wish to utilise this space, occupation can be obtained, says John Lomas of Alliance.

“In addition to the retail space on offer, in Sigamoney Road, there is an undeveloped site with three road frontages, on Sigamoney, Seaward and Soupan roads, now occupied by a motor vehicle spares outlet. This site is ideal for future development, once the lease expires.”
