New Germany has easy access to the M19 highway linking the western suburb to the N2 freeway at the Umgeni Road interchange, as well as the M13 highway which connects to the N3 further west. The eThekwini Municipality’s multibillion-rand integrated rapid public transport network, Go!Durban, features with shelters under construction on Shepstone Road and the medium-term plan for a road link to Inanda.
