Moshe Ndiki to host Miss South Africa red carpet

Johannesburg – Local media personality Moshe Ndiki is set to host the red carpet ahead of the Miss South Africa pageant next month, the organisation announced today.

The comedian, TV personality and YouTube sensation is thrilled about his upcoming hosting duties at the pageant on August 13 at the SunBet Arena in Time Square, Pretoria.

“I am super ecstatic to be this year’s Miss South Africa red carpet host,” he said.

“It is an honour to be a part of the Miss South Africa legacy and this is truly a blessing and a dream transformed into reality.”

The Eastern Cape born and raised entertainer has amassed more than a million views on YouTube and has a massive following on social media.

He says he is expecting some striking looks on the Miss SA red carpet.

“I am expecting nothing but the finest red carpet looks from our celebrity guests who’ll be gracing us on the evening so those at home should expect everything that is glitz and glam.”

Meanwhile, Miss South Africa CEO Stephanie Weil is excited to have Ndiki as the host of the pageant’s red carpet.

Both the red carpet coverage, pageant finale and interview with the newly crowned Miss South Africa will be live streamed exclusively on the Miss South Africa app.

Tickets for the pageant can be bought via the Miss South Africa app and website as well as from Ticketmaster.

General access tickets cost from R250 to R450 while VIP tickets cost R1 500 and include a glamorous red-carpet and pre-event celebration.

Miss South Africa 2022 will take home prizes and sponsorships worth more than R3 million.

The Top 10 competing for the crown is: Anarzade Omar, Ayanda Thabethe, Itumeleng Parage, Keaoleboga Nkashe, Lebogang Mahlangu, Luvé Meyer, Luyanda Zuma, Ndavi Nokeri, Pearl Ntshehi and Tamsyn Jack.

The Saturday Star
