Caster Semenya won her first heat of the 800 metres at the 2016 Rio Olympics on Wednesday to qualify for the semi-finals. South Africans waited patiently for the race, ready with congratulatory messages and after a quick 1:59.31 they showered her with love and encouragement for the semi's.
