South African musician Anele Zondo recently gave birth to her first child and it’s safe to say motherhood is treating her well.
The “Ingwe” hitmaker shared a video of herself in a nude drop waist dress and looked every inch gorgeous.
To celebrate the new chapter and the arrival of her princess, Moä, she also gifted herself with a promise ring.
“This year has been filled with surprises and interesting twists and turns. And I look at myself in the mirror and admire the woman I have become.
“So I wanted to gift myself with something that I can look at and feel that essence as ’pretty promise’ and a commitment to myself. I say yes to being the best version of myself every day,” she wrote on Instagram.
Her followers and colleagues in the entertainment industry congratulated her for romanticising her life and being a first-time mom.
“Congrats, sweets. We thank God for your and the baby’s safety throughout the labour and birthing. God is good. May He continue to cover y’all with love, protection and grace,” said Refilwe Modiselle.
The musician also shared another video of herself draped in a figure-hugging dress to show off her hourglass figure, proving that she has great genes, that’s why her body quickly bounced back after giving birth.
And while her followers praised her, they also reminded other women who recently gave birth not to pressure themselves because bodies are different and will not recover the same.
“Oh, honestly, no shade to her. She has always had a banging body, this was not to troll her or anything. It’s just your body grows another being for a whole nine months -- lungs, hands, and everything grows.
“It’s okay to still have mkaba [big belly] 4 months after, it’s okay to pick up weight after having a baby, and it’s okay to not look the same. She is def [definitely] hot,” said @tarirodinala.
