TS Galaxy will continue their pursuit of a coveted CAF Confederation Cup position when they take on relegation-threatened Marumo Gallants at Mbombela Stadium on Sunday at 5:30 PM.

The Rockets have been in impressive form, remaining unbeaten in their last four league outings.

The Mpumalanga-based club now aims to extend its positive run when it hosts Gallants at home, currently sitting in 4th place on the Betway Premiership standings.

Guided by coach Adnan Beganović, TS Galaxy have demonstrated resilience and tactical discipline in their recent performances.

The team’s win over AmaZulu is a testament to their ability to perform under pressure, with a recent record of three wins, one draw, and only one defeat in their last five matches across all competitions.

This solid form has strengthened their position in the upper half of the table, giving the team a renewed sense of confidence heading into the encounter against Gallants.

On the other hand, Bahlabane Ba Ntwa are enduring a turbulent season, currently positioned 14th in the league standings, a precarious position that places them within reach of relegation.

However, the team managed to secure a vital 1-0 away victory against Cape Town City before the international break, a result that provided a much-needed boost to their morale.

Gallants have accumulated a total of 22 points thus far, with a record of six wins, four draws, and twelve losses. Their offensive output stands at 18 goals scored, while their defense has conceded 33 goals.

The team’s away form has been particularly problematic, with only two wins, one draw, and eight defeats on the road, highlighting the challenges they face when playing away from home.

Under the guidance of Abdeslam Ouaddou, Gallants have experienced a mixed run of form, with two wins, one draw, and two losses in their last five matches.

Despite their recent victory over City, the team’s defensive frailties remain a major concern, with their backline struggling to contain opposition attacks throughout the campaign.

In their most recent encounter, TS Galaxy and Marumo Gallants played to a 1-1 draw, reflecting the competitive nature of their meetings.

Historically, the head-to-head record between the two teams in their last five matches shows no victories for TS Galaxy, two wins for Gallants, and three draws, adding extra intrigue to this upcoming fixture.

TS Galaxy will be eager to break this trend and secure a vital three points as they continue their bid for a CAF Interclub spot.

One of the key players to watch for TS Galaxy will be Keagan Dolly, who has been instrumental in the team’s midfield this season, making 14 appearances and contributing significantly to the team’s creative play.

For Gallants, Malawian striker Gabadinho Mhango will be crucial in their fight for top-flight survival. Mhango has already netted five goals in the Betway Premiership this season and will be eager to add to his tally as he looks to lead his team to safety.
