Meta has announced that it will be rolling out an option for users to add WhatsApp to the Accounts Centre over the next few months.
Adding WhatsApp to Accounts Center is optional and off by default, but it can help users who want features to work more seamlessly across apps.
By adding WhatsApp to Account Center, it will be easier for users to reshare updates from their WhatsApp Status to Facebook or Instagram Stories, according to Meta.

Users will also be able to log back in to their WhatsApp account with a single sign-on, so they can get back into their accounts faster and with fewer steps.
Over time, Meta will keep adding more features that work across their apps for people who want them, such as the ability to manage their avatars, Meta AI stickers and their Imagine Me creations all in one place.
"Whenever we introduce these new experiences, it’s our responsibility to help people understand how we protect their personal information," Meta said.
"Privacy is paramount to WhatsApp and your personal messages and calls are always protected by end-to-end encryption, which means that no one else, not even WhatsApp or Meta, can read or hear them. Adding your WhatsApp to Accounts Center does not change that."
This option will be available to people globally; however, it will take time to roll out everywhere.
When this option is available, users will see this option in their WhatsApp settings or it will appear when trying to take action across accounts, like re-sharing their WhatsApp Status to other apps.
