On the 25th anniversary of the Throb nightclub disaster, we remember the 13 young lives lost and the community's resilience in the face of tragedy.
The incident happened on the last day of the school term, on March 24, 2000, where about 600 children were celebrating.
Pandemonium broke out at the Chatsworth venue after a teargas canister was detonated. Thirteen children died and dozens others were injured. The youngest victim was 11 years old.
