Ficksburg - The six policemen accused of killing Ficksburg protester Andries Tatane were remanded in custody on Monday until next Tuesday.

Regional Magistrate Phillip Visser postponed the assault and murder case to April 26 in the Ficksburg Regional Court in the Free State.

The defence asked the court for an order that no photographs be published of the six accused because an identity parade still had to be conducted.

The State did not oppose the request, which was granted by Visser. - Sapa
