The decomposed body of a man has been found hanging in his rented room in Thaba Nchu, Free State, police said on Wednesday.
Constable Consolation Mokoale said the 29-year-old man was found by his landlord on Monday. He went to investigate the man's room when he saw flies coming from it.
Mokoale said the man's hands had been tied with a rope and he was hanging from the roof with an electrical cord.
The landlord said the man was last seen alive on Saturday.
Police were investigating a case of murder. – Sapa
