A man died and six people were injured when two cars collided head-on on the N1 highway near Bloemfontein, Free State paramedics said on Friday.
Netcare 911 spokesman Jeffrey Wicks said one of the cars moved into the on-coming lane and collided with the other car on Thursday night.
The driver of the one of the cars was killed on impact.
The driver and passengers of the other car, including two children, aged three and nine-years-old, were rushed to a nearby hospital. - Sapa
