Bloemfontein - A Bloemfontein man was killed when he was hit by a goods train on Friday, paramedics said.
His mangled remains were found on the railway lines near McGregor Street, near the Bloemfontein CBD, said ER24 spokeswoman Vanessa Jackson.
It was alleged the man was trying to cross the tracks when the train struck him.
