Free State - A miner was killed in a rock fall at Harmony Gold's Masimong mine near Welkom in the Free State, the company said on Thursday.
All production at the mine was halted after the miner's death on Wednesday, the company said in a statement.
“Harmony's Chief Executive Graham Briggs and his management team wish to express their deepest condolences to the members of the deceased's family for the loss of their loved one.”
