Ohrigstad - The body of a woman who went missing last month was found in Ohrigstad, Limpopo police said on Wednesday.

The woman was identified as Tshepo Pholoto, 32, of Modubeng village, who went missing on July 17, Colonel Ronel Otto said.

Her body was found on August 9 and she was identified on August 12 by members of her family.

Pholoto's husband returned from night duty on the morning of July 17 and found traces of blood in the bedroom and his wife missing.

A case of kidnapping was opened the same day at Mecklenburg police station.

Police said a post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death and no arrests have been made.
