Welkom - A woman suspected of killing her policeman husband last year was denied bail by the Welkom Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, police said.
Nthabeleng Mabaso, 32, and her mother Mathabiso Taledi, 55, had been out on bail, but were rearrested in June for allegedly conspiring to murder a number of State witnesses in the case.
They would appear again in court on August 6, said Captain Stephen Thakeng.
He said Mabaso was charged with murder and conspiracy to murder. Her mother face a charge of conspiracy to murder.
Mabaso's husband, Captain Arthur Mabaso, was found murdered in St Helena, Welkom, in November 2012. - Sapa
