A man died and four people were injured when a bakkie and a car collided on the N8 Thaba Nchu Road near Bloemfontein in the Free State, paramedics said on Thursday.
The bakkie apparently struck the car when it emerged from a side road, Netcare 911 spokesman Jeffrey Wicks said.
“Paramedics arrived at the scene to find the driver of the car in a critical condition. He was treated by medics and transported by ambulance to the Pelonomi state hospital where he sadly died on arrival.” - Sapa
