One man died and four other people were injured on Saturday evening when a car overturned on the R76 between Kroonstad and Viljoenskroon, in the Free State, paramedics said.
The driver lost control of the car which pushed from the road and overturned, rolling repeatedly before coming to rest in a field at the roadside,” Netcare 911 spokesman Jeffrey Wicks said.
“One man who had been flung from the wreckage had sadly died prior to the arrival of paramedics.”
Wicks said the injured people were treated and stabilised on the scene before they were transported to nearby hospitals. - Sapa
