Bloemfontein - The case against a Free State man accused of raping his two daughters has been postponed in the Bloemfontein Sexual Offences Court to next year.

On Tuesday, the case was postponed for further investigation to January 28, 2014, when a trial date would be set.

The 55-year-old man, from Boshoff, faces two counts of raping his daughters, now aged 26 and 21.

There was also a possibility that more charges would be added to the existing charge sheet.

The man allegedly started raping his elder daughter in 2002 and her sister in 2007.

The alleged rapes continued until his arrest in September this year.

The matter came to the attention of the police when the elder daughter reported it to a community leader. - Sapa
