Bloemfontein - Four people stole expensive perfumes worth thousands of rand during a break-in at the Mimosa Mall in Bloemfontein, police said on Tuesday.

“It was alleged that four unknown suspects crashed open the main entrance into the shopping mall and proceeded to Truworths clothing store,” Captain Chaka Marope said of the robbery on Monday morning.

They forced their way into the shop and stole a variety of expensive perfumes before fleeing in a maroon Honda Ballade with no registration plates.

Marope said the break-in was discovered later by security guards and the police were called.

“We request the public to assist us by giving us any information about people who would be selling expensive perfumes in the streets or in their houses,” said Marope. - Sapa
