Warden, Free State - Three people have been hacked to death in Warden in the Free State, police said on Tuesday.

“On Sunday at about 10.30am, three Chinese citizens were found dead in their shop at Piet Retief Konka Clothing Store in Warden,” said Sergeant Tshegofatso Modise.

The bodies of Ron Ling Chen, 31, Li Pin Chen, 24, and an 18-month-old girl were found by relatives who became concerned after their telephone calls went unanswered.

A case of murder was being investigated by police, said Modise.

No arrests had been made. - Sapa
