Free State - Two men drowned in the Vals River near Kroonstad in the Free State on Saturday, paramedics said.
“It is believed that the drowning happened while the two men were being baptised in the river,” ER24 spokesman Derrick Banks said.
When paramedics arrived on the scene police were taking the bodies out of the water.
